Top Speed
Many hoverboards disappoint in terms of speed, such as the Gotrax Edge. Not this one!
The Swagtron Swagboard T6 can go pretty fast, reaching a top speed of 12 mph.
Hence, you never have to worry about reaching your destination in time. You also don’t have to worry about bikes or runners overtaking you.
If 12 mph are too fast for you, no worries either – you can choose to ride in Eco mode in order to slow things down.
Range
The Swagtron T6 comes with an outstanding total range as well. It can take you as far as 12 miles on a single charge. Considering the small nature of such a hoverboard, I find this quite impressive.
With that, it beats popular hoverboard models such as the Gotrax SRX Pro or the Razor Hovertracks 2.0.
To make sure that you always know how much charge you have left, there are battery indicators on top of the hoverboard right next to the feet.
Hill Climbing
The way that the Swagtron T6 Hoverboard deals with inclines is very impressive as well.
According to Swagtron, it manages to go up 30 degrees of inclination. Not 30 percent but 30 degree! Yes, there is a significant difference.
This basically means that you will be able to drive up any hill in front of you. Knowing that you won’t ever have to carry your hoverboard up a hill is very comforting.
Off-Road Performance
Despite already delivering impressive stats in the previous chapters, off-road riding performance is where the Swagtron T6 impresses the most.
This hoverboard was specifically constructed for off-roading, which means that you can ride through any terrain without a problem. Even if it is rainy and muddy – no problem.
This is especially due to its massive and sturdy 10″ air-filled wheels, as well as the powerful motor.

Depending on your level of expertise in riding hoverboards as well as your current mood you can easily adjust the Swagtron T6 riding mode by holding the power button.
In Learning Mode, you will ride with reduced velocity. This allows you to travel further as well as more comfortably.
In Standard Mode, you already unlock the maximum speed of 12 mph.

In order to be registered well and correctly by other traffic participants, 4 LED movement indicators are integrated into the hoverboard. They signal when you are starting, stopping and turning.
System indicators next to the feet also notify you when the hoverboard enters self-balancing mode or if something is wrong, for example with the battery.
Another safety feature are the non-slip pedals with maximum traction. They make sure you never fall off the hoverboard mid-ride.
Additionally, footguards between your feet and the wheels ease your mind about potentially touching a wheel while riding.
Portability: Weight & Dimensions
Boasting above mentioned specs and being an off-road specialist, it is no wonder that the Swagtron T6 Hoverboard is kind of heavy. It weighs a bit more than 30 pounds: 30.55 lb.
This diminishes its portability.

Smartphone Connectivity

Lights
The Swagtron T6 Hoverboards boasts front and rear color-coded LED lights. Depending on the current riding action of yours, they adjust their color.
When you accelerate and ride normally, they shine blue and illuminate the way in front of you.
Should you be braking, they shine bright red, alerting anyone around – and especially behind – you.
When you are changing directions, i.e. going left or right, the corresponding side will flash a green light.
